$20.00/hr - $24.00/hr

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering
• Basic knowledge in the use of various computer/technology skills including Smartphones, Tablets, and Microsoft Office Programs (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel).
• A valid driver’s license with a driving record in good standing is required.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Expected to possess or be willing to complete a 40-Hour HAZWOPER Course, OSHA 29 CFR  preferred (training will be provided if not current).

Job Description

Entry-Level Field Engineer I As an (entry-level) Field Engineer I at Our Client, you will gain basic knowledge of the terminology, processes, and equipment used in the operation, maintenance, and monitoring (OM&M) of various environmental control systems, while also learning essential health and safety requirements. Your tasks will be straightforward, providing a solid foundation for your career growth. You will report to a senior-level supervisor, such as a Project Superintendent or a Project Manager.

We are looking for a Field Technician to service the Tennessee area. How You Can Make an Impact:

• Focuses on gaining the fundamentals needed to understand the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of various environmental systems.
• Works with senior staff in the planning and execution of assigned tasks, including daily Crew Activity Plans (CAP), monitoring, and/or adjustment of various environmental control system components
• At the direction of senior staff, performs basic maintenance and repairs of various environmental control system components.
• Becomes familiar with the concepts of conducting field observations/actions and reporting those observations/actions via field notes and daily logs, which will be used by others to prepare verbal and written client communications.
• Through training, gains basic knowledge to utilize field instruments to measure required environmental control system data, including calibration and proper care and handling of field instruments.
• Participates in preliminary review of collected data with a supervisor to gain an understanding of the basic fundamentals required to interpret field data.
• Works with senior staff to make operational adjustments to environmental control system components in conjunction with the results of preliminary data reviews.
• Receives training to utilize the appropriate tools, equipment, and materials to maintain and repair environmental control system components.
• Assists Laborers, Field Technician II, Senior Field Technicians, or other staff with the removal of landfill liquid pumps.
