POSITION SUMMARY
Premier Radiology is seeking a X-Ray Technologist to perform quality x-ray examinations.
POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Explain procedure to patients and answer questionsPrepare and position patient for diagnostic imaging procedurePosition radiation protection devices such as lead shieldsSetting x-ray equipment at the correct angle and height over the appropriate area of the patient’s bodySetting controls on the x-ray machine to produce x-rays or radiographs of the appropriate density, detail, and contrastCapture image of each angle following physicians orders preciselyEvaluate image for qualityMaintain patient records/documentationMaintain/adjust equipmentDESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
High School or equivalentARRT LicensureBLS CertifiedBackground with eClinical
Works Practice Management System preferredAbility to use x-ray equipmentAbility to work independentlyAbility to work in a fast-paced, high productivity environmentAbility to exercise judgement and make decisionsExcellent communication skills to communicate with patients, physicians, clients, coworkers, and management staffAbility to document accurately and conciselyExcellent phone and computer skillsAbility to maintain sensitive information in confidenceAbility to meet deadlines and prioritize diverse responsibilitiesHIPAA and OSHA knowledgeStrong organizational skillsRadiology Partners is an equal opportunity employer.
