Senior Platform Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled Sr. Platform Engineer with extensive experience in virtualization platforms, Dev Ops practices, and cloud infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in Nutanix and VMware environments, along with strong scripting and automation skills to support scalable, secure, and efficient platform operations across public and private cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage virtualization platforms, with a focus on Nutanix and VMware.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure automation using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and Salt Stack.
• Support Dev Ops practices across the software development lifecycle using CI/CD pipelines and orchestration tools.
• Manage and optimize cloud services across Azure, Google Cloud, and IBM Bluemix.
• Implement and maintain containerized environments using Kubernetes, Open Shift, and Docker.
• Develop scripts and automation using Python, Bash, Power Shell, Power
  
  CLI, JSON, KSH, and YAML.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure platform reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Maintain and support Microsoft and Linux-based operating systems.
• Utilize repository tools such as Git Hub and Bit Bucket for version control and collaboration.

• 6+ years of experience with Nutanix, VMware, or other virtualization platforms.
• 3+ years of experience in Dev Ops roles utilizing Agile SDLC methodologies.
• Strong hands-on experience with Nutanix and VMware virtualization platforms and services.
• Proficiency in scripting languages including Python, Bash, Power Shell, Power
  
  CLI, JSON, KSH, and YAML.
• Experience with orchestration tools such as Git Hub Actions, Terraform, and Ansible.
• Knowledge of infrastructure configuration and automation tools (Ansible, Salt Stack, Puppet).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms including Azure, Google Cloud, and IBM Bluemix.
• Experience with container and platform services like Kubernetes, Open Shift, and Docker.
• Proficiency in managing Microsoft and Linux operating systems.

• Professional certifications in Nutanix, VMware, or Microsoft Azure.

• Nutanix, VMware, or Microsoft Azure certifications (preferred).
