IT Team Lead Database Administrator – Nashville, TN

IDR is seeking a dynamic and experienced IT Team Lead Database Administrator to join one of our top clients in Nashville TN
. This role is ideal for a seasoned IT professional with a strong background in relational database management and administration and a passion for leading and mentoring technical teams.

• Lead the operational and strategic management of enterprise database systems across on-premise and cloud-based environments.
• Ensure the availability, performance, recoverability, and security of data platforms.
• Provide leadership and direction to a team of database engineers and administrators.
• Oversee the development and enforcement of database performance monitoring, alerting, and telemetry standards.
• Coordinate with Info Sec and Audit teams to ensure database systems are aligned with corporate security policies.

• 8-10 years of experience in IT with a focus on relational database management and administration.
• 2+ years of experience leading or mentoring technical teams in a database or platform engineering function.
• Strong expertise in Oracle, SQL Server, and Exadata systems.
• Proficient with scripting languages (Power Shell, Python, Bash).
• Familiarity with cloud-native databases (e.g., Azure SQL, Postgre
