IT Problem Coordinator

IDR is seeking a IT Problem Coordinator to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Brentwood, TN. This role leads the end-to-end Problem Management process to prevent recurring incidents, reduce business impact, and drive permanent fixes across enterprise IT services.

You’ll partner with cross-functional technical teams and stakeholders to facilitate root cause analysis, manage known errors, and improve service reliability and stability.

• Own the full lifecycle of problem records from identification and logging through investigation, resolution, and closure
• Facilitate root cause analysis (RCA) sessions and document corrective/preventive actions to eliminate repeat incidents
• Maintain and publish known errors and workarounds in a Known Error Database (KEDB)
• Perform trend analysis across incidents to identify systemic issues and prioritize high-impact problems
• Build and maintain dashboards and reporting track backlog, aging, and reduction of repeat incidents

• 3+ years of experience in Problem/Incident Management or reliability-focused IT operations within an enterprise environment
• Hands‑on experience working within an ITSM tool and related processes (Problem, Incident, Change, Knowledge)
• Proven ability to lead and facilitate RCAs (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone/Ishikawa, Kepner‑Tregoe) and drive follow‑through across teams
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to connect symptoms to underlying causes and define actionable remediation plans
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including meeting facilitation and clear documentation
