What

You’ll Do
  • You’ll serve as an advisor and advocate for a portfolio of personal lines clients, ensuring each household receives proactive, exceptional service.
  • You’ll manage renewals, coverage changes, and retention with confidence while leveraging your product knowledge to identify gaps, improve protection, and deliver peace of mind.
Day‐to‐Day Responsibilities
  • Manage a book of personal lines business with attention and care.
  • Proactively review renewals and negotiate with carriers to ensure competitive coverage/pricing and present options to insureds.
  • Build long‑term client relationships through consultative conversations and responsiveness.
  • Assist clients with new policies, changes, and claims with empathy and urgency.
  • Educate clients on coverage options and risk management strategies.
  • Identify opportunities for cross‑sell and rounding out accounts.
  • Partner with team, agency leadership, and underwriters to ensure smooth execution and high client satisfaction.
  • Stay current on carrier appetite, market trends, and technology tools.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years’ experience in an IA independent Agency (IA channel), personal lines account management.
  • Deep knowledge of major carriers, coverage forms, and rating practices.
  • Active P&C license.
  • Proficiency in AMS
    360 and Microsoft Office.
  • Exceptional communication, organization, and follow‑through.
  • Ability to manage renewals and retention strategies independently.
  • A genuine care for people — you enjoy championing relationships and getting it done right.
Compensation

$70,000+ commensurate with experience.
