WhatYou’ll Do
- You’ll serve as an advisor and advocate for a portfolio of personal lines clients, ensuring each household receives proactive, exceptional service.
- You’ll manage renewals, coverage changes, and retention with confidence while leveraging your product knowledge to identify gaps, improve protection, and deliver peace of mind.
- Manage a book of personal lines business with attention and care.
- Proactively review renewals and negotiate with carriers to ensure competitive coverage/pricing and present options to insureds.
- Build long‑term client relationships through consultative conversations and responsiveness.
- Assist clients with new policies, changes, and claims with empathy and urgency.
- Educate clients on coverage options and risk management strategies.
- Identify opportunities for cross‑sell and rounding out accounts.
- Partner with team, agency leadership, and underwriters to ensure smooth execution and high client satisfaction.
- Stay current on carrier appetite, market trends, and technology tools.
- 3+ years’ experience in an IA independent Agency (IA channel), personal lines account management.
- Deep knowledge of major carriers, coverage forms, and rating practices.
- Active P&C license.
- Proficiency in AMS
360 and Microsoft Office. - Exceptional communication, organization, and follow‑through.
- Ability to manage renewals and retention strategies independently.
- A genuine care for people — you enjoy championing relationships and getting it done right.
$70,000+ commensurate with experience.
