AboutThe Role
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Field Services Director to lead our maintenance and construction services division. This role is responsible for overseeing field operations, managing staff, and ensuring exceptional service delivery to clients. The ideal candidate will bring leadership experience, technical expertise, and a passion for operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage field service and maintenance teams across multiple service lines.
- Ensure staffing levels are efficient, productive, and aligned with budget goals.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and conduct performance reviews for field staff.
- Oversee construction projects including renovations, insurance claims, and capital improvements.
- Manage bidding and estimating processes, including job specs and vendor proposals.
- Conduct client presentations and attend proposal meetings with boards and managers.
- Monitor service quality and intervene to resolve client or employee concerns.
- Develop and implement strategies to grow revenue and expand service offerings.
- Maintain inventory, oversee purchasing, and ensure budget compliance.
- Travel locally for site inspections, client meetings, and emergency response.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and internal policies.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or 5+ years of relevant experience in field services or construction management.
- Proven leadership experience in maintenance, construction, or property services.
- Strong knowledge of repair methods, tools, and procedures (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, cement work).
- Excellent communication, customer service, and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with maintenance operating systems (e.g., Metrix) is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Must have reliable transportation and be available for emergency/on‑call needs.
