Overview
The Breakfast Server supports the Breakfast Cook in delivering a smooth, welcoming, and well-executed breakfast service for hotel guests. This role focuses on guest service, buffet maintenance, and basic food preparation assistance while ensuring all Holiday Inn/IHG brand standards are met.
Responsibilities- Greet guests warmly and provide friendly, attentive service during breakfast hours
- Assist the Breakfast Cook with light food prep, restocking hot and cold items, and maintaining proper food temperatures
- Set up, monitor, and replenish the breakfast buffet to ensure continuous availability and appealing presentation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast, kitchen, and dining areas throughout service
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations, including proper food handling and storage
- Communicate guest needs, supply shortages, or issues promptly to the Breakfast Cook or Manager
- Assist with breakdown, cleaning, and resetting of the breakfast area after service
- Hospitality or food service experience preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Attention to detail with a proactive, team-oriented mindset
- Reliable, professional, and guest-focused attitude
