What do our Termite Technicians do?Termite Technicians use their expertise to protect customers’ properties from wood‑destroying organisms. They are the first line of defense, performing inspections, prevention, and treatment services that provide peace of mind and comfort to customers.
Responsibilities- Identify customer’s termite problems and have knowledge of termite behaviors and habits to determine remedial steps.
- Perform termite treatment services safely and according to company guidelines and standard practices.
- Apply anti‑termite treatments to structures according to schedule, safety procedures and label instructions.
- Communicate to the customer critical conditions conducive to termite activity, discuss procedures and structural modifications, which may be supplemental to the treatment process.
- Verify that job specifications are appropriate for each work order.
- Operate and maintain service vehicles and equipment.
- Complete production forms documenting services provided.
- Interact with customers and explain services provided.
- Tolerate a variety of environmental conditions, including seasonal weather, damp and/or dusty locations.
- Prepare the job site for treatment.
- Enter and exit structures and crawl spaces; climb over and on top of structures; ascend and descend stairs and ladders.
- Be comfortable working 20 feet up a ladder and in small confined spaces.
- General laborer, carpentry, cement, roofing, gutter and attic experience is a plus.
- Ability to work on roofs and high areas.
- Lots of moving around—regularly sitting, climbing, должны, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling, up and down(): stairs vare structures, ladders, scaffolding, ramps and poles.
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), such as an OSHA‑compliant respirator, and be comfortable working in confined spaces, narrow aisles or passageways (anywhere the critters live).
- Clean shaven face— for safety reasons (rebreathers must seal the face).
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license from state of residence (company vehicle and gas card provided).
- At least 1 year of customer service experience; experience in termite control is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Flexibility with working hours, Monday‑Friday and Saturdays as needed.
- Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations (covered by us).
- Basic math skills—add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions
Donalds and decimals. Follow instructions for mixing on product labels.
