AboutThe Role
We’re looking for a Senior QA Engineer I who’s passionate about automation, reliability, and embedding quality into every step of development. You’ll design and maintain end-to-end (E2E) test coverage for both front-end and backend systems — using modern frameworks, improving CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring every release is stable, secure, and privacy-safe.
We don’t need top-tier leet coders, but we do need true QA engineers — not just manual testers. You should be comfortable working in the codebase, contributing test coverage in Type Script and Python, and handling real application challenges like authentication, state management, and integration complexity when designing tests.
This is a highly technical QA role that requires both engineering skill and strong testing discipline.
What You’ll Do- Build and maintain automated end-to-end (E2E) test suites using Playwright (preferred) or equivalent frameworks such as Cypress, Puppeteer, or Selenium.
- Contribute directly to the application codebase, improving testability in Type Script, React, and HTML components.
- Operate and extend QA automation in Git Hub Actions, ArgoCD, or similar CI/CD systems to ensure fast and reliable releases.
- Design and execute backend and API testing using Python, with a strong understanding of HTTP and REST APIs.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define test coverage standards, integrate privacy validation into testing, and continuously improve release confidence.
- Strong experience with Playwright, Cypress, Puppeteer, or Selenium for automated testing.
- Hands‑on experience with Type Script, React, and HTML to contribute to testable front‑end code.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Git Hub Actions, ArgoCD, Jenkins, Circle
CI, or similar). - Working knowledge of HTTP and REST APIs, with basic proficiency in Python for backend test scripts.
- Ability to design maintainable automated tests, debug issues independently, and drive QA improvements proactively.
- Experience with performance testing tools (k6, Locust, JMeter).
- Familiarity with Kubernetes or containerized test environments.
- Exposure to monitoring and observability tools (Datadog, Grafana).
- Experience testing mobile applications (iOS/Android).
- Background in privacy, security, or regulated industry testing.
