Technical Lead, Software Development, Backend Developer

Akkodis is seeking a Technical Lead for a Contract with a client in Brentwood, TN. You will design and build distributed, scalable microservices that handle business logic and system communication.

Rate Range: $41/hour to $56/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Technical Lead job responsibilities include:

• Design and develop distributed, scalable microservices using Spring Boot to handle business logic and system communication.
• Implement RESTful APIs and backend services, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver robust backend solutions.
• Optimize application performance and scalability, applying best practices in microservices architecture.
• Ensure secure coding standards and proper integration with databases and other system components.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and troubleshooting, maintaining high-quality deliverables.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 6-8 years of experience in backend development with microservices architecture.
• Strong hands‑on expertise in Spring Boot and building distributed, scalable microservices.
• Proven experience in developing RESTful APIs and integrating secure, high‑performance backend systems.

Pay Details: $41.00 to $56.00 per hour
