Job Summary
Akkodis is seeking a Technical Lead for an independent contract position with a client in Brentwood, TN. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining distributed, scalable microservices using Spring Boot to handle business logic and system communication.
Rate Range$41/hour to $56/hour (negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors).
Responsibilities- Design and develop distributed, scalable microservices using Spring Boot to handle business logic and system communication.
- Implement RESTful APIs and backend services, ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver robust backend solutions.
- Optimize application performance and scalability, applying best practices in microservices architecture.
- Ensure secure coding standards and proper integration with databases and other system components.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and troubleshooting, maintaining high-quality deliverables.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 6-8+ years of experience in backend development with microservices architecture.
- Strong hands‑on expertise in Spring Boot and building distributed, scalable microservices.
- Proven experience in developing RESTful APIs and integrating secure, high‑performance backend systems.
