Registered Nurse - Medical Cardiology Stepdown

This role involves providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a medical cardiology stepdown setting. The nurse collaborates with medical providers and the care team to deliver personalized, compassionate care based on established nursing models, acting as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers to ensure excellent clinical outcomes.

• Assess patient condition during admission and shifts, promptly reporting changes
• Perform procedures, monitor responses, administer medications, and document care thoroughly
• Respond to patient requests proactively, anticipate needs, and resolve issues
• Educate patients and families about medical conditions, treatments, medications, and follow-up care, translating complex information into understandable terms

• RN licensure with a Bachelor's or Associate's Degree
• Minimum of 1 year RN experience
• Basic and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certifications (obtained within 30 days of hire)
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and patient advocacy skills
