Summary:

CED is looking for a team member to work in a warehouse environment that services the electrical industry. We are a wholesale electrical distributor who sells to contractors, businesses, and the general public. Applicants should be comfortable working in and around a warehouse. This position entails receiving merchandise, stocking material, order fulfillment, order delivery, and some sales.

Reports to:

PC Manager

Minimum Qualifications:

+  Ability to lift 75 pounds (tools and equipment available to help)

+ Ability to squat, kneel, bend, and twist

+ Willingness to learn about electrical supplies

+ High school or equivalent education

+ Driver's License and clean driving record

+ Ability to work 7AM-4:30PM Monday through Friday

Preferred Qualifications:

+  Basic customer service

+  Basic math skills

+  Ability to operate a forklift

ADDITIONAL

+  Ability to work both independently and with a team

Working Conditions:

This role involves working mostly inside in a warehouse and on the counter but includes delivering materials to  active construction jobsites.  The employee can expect loading and unloading of materials, working in varying weather conditions, navigating uneven terrain, and interacting regularly with customers and jobsite personnel while following safety procedures.

Essential Job Functions:

+ Receive and inspect incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and quality.

+ Stock shelves and maintain a clean, organized warehouse.

+ Pick and prepare orders for delivery or customer pickup.

+ Safely load delivery vehicles and make on-time deliveries to local customers.

+ Represent our team professionally at every customer stop.

+ Handle delivery paperwork and communicate any issues back to the team.

+ Provide support at the sales counter as needed:

+ Greet customers and assist with order pickups.

+ Answer basic questions about products and availability. No electrical experience required. We are willing to train someone with the right work ethic and attitude.

+ Help maintain a clean, well-stocked counter and showroom area.

+ Assist with inventory counts and warehouse organization projects.

+ Follow all safety guidelines for vehicle operation, warehouse work, and customer interactions.
