Join Our Team As a Preschool Support Teacher for this Fall 2025 school year! Part-time and Full-time openings Available/ (Bangor and Brewer) Come join our teaching team and help support students in general education and special education classrooms! Preschool support teachers play with children ages 2-5 while modeling communication, social, and academic skills. The Preschool Support Teacher also maintains accurate documentation and records, and implements the philosophy, policies and procedures of the organization.
Part‑time and full‑time positions available with hours ranging from 7:30‑4:30 or 9‑3. Make the schedule that works for you!
- Maintains daily documentation.
- Support the child’s learning and goals.
- Ensure the use of safe play skills.
- Maintain a positive learning environment.
- Follow each child’s treatment plan.
- Maintain client safety at all times.
- High School Education or equivalent. 90 credit hours preferred.
- Must obtain CPR/First Aid/BBP certifications within 60 days of hire (provided).
- Must obtain Safety Care certification within 30 days of hire (provided).
- Must obtain BHP certification within 12 months of hire (provided).
- Valid State of Maine driver license, reliable transportation with proof of registration and insurance, and willingness to use own transportation for work.
