Personal Support Specialist Adult Homecare

Home, Hope and Healing, Inc. is seeking a PSS to work with an adult client in the Brewer area.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide 1‑on‑1, client‑centered care and services.
• Assist with personal hygiene—bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, undressing, meal preparation and feeding, transfer and/or mobility, safe restroom use, and continence maintenance.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as meal preparation, communication via telephone/email/internet, and general housework (laundry, dishes, maintaining a hygienic residence).
• Support the client’s authorized and individual care plan.

Shift structure is variable; primarily day shifts. Flexibility to work Per Diem, Part Time, or Full Time in the location of choice.

Our model of care includes regional Nurse Managers who provide ongoing support, supervision, and education.

• Up to 11 days of Paid Vacation/Sick Time.

• PSS certificate preferred but not required. Must enroll in a PSS course upon hire and complete it within 6 months; reimbursement after meeting work requirements.
• One year of clinical experience in home care preferred.
• High‑school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Successful background checks.
