Overview
Brewer Veterinary Clinic is looking to add a compassionate and skilled Veterinarian to our team. At our Rarebreed clinic, you can help reimagine the veterinary experience in your community. Our positive environment means you’ll be supported by a compassionate team in our AAHA-accredited, high-volume, small animal practice. You’ll work with the latest technology, gain access to state-of-the-art training facilities, and collaborate with a positive team to deliver the highest quality of care to the pet patients we all love.
Brewer Veterinary Clinic is AAHA-accredited, high-volume, small animal practice with seven doctors on staff. Our dedicated team includes receptionists, veterinary assistants, licensed veterinary technicians, and veterinarians. We offer a newly renovated state-of-the-art facility, on-site digital radiography, ultrasound, IDEXX testing equipment, a well-stocked surgical suite and pharmacy, and support continuing education and clinic development. We participate in global service projects and trips.

What you’ll do- Examine and diagnose diseases and injuries of pets (primarily dogs and cats), and treat surgically or medically
- Collaborate within our veterinary ecosystem, and communicate with referring veterinarians
- Participate in ongoing education, seminars, and training to stay at the top of your field
- Administer core vaccinations and counsel clients in well-pet care
- Perform dentals as needed
- Contribute to making our workplace enjoyable for all; staff, clients, and pets

- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree
- 2+ years of experience practicing veterinary medicine in a veterinary hospital setting is preferred
- Internship training is also preferred but not required
- Ability to attain ME Veterinary License
