Job Overview

As a Field Merchandiser, you will work independently to showcase your organization and time-management skills, establish retailer relationships, and serve as Hallmark’s face in the stores. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations when needed. Occasionally you may work with other products from partner companies in the stores you service.

AND SCHEDULE DETAILS
  • Your starting pay will be $16.00 - $16.50 depending on your skills and experience.
  • Eligible Employees receive annual pay increases.
  • This is a Part-Time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
  • Average weekly hours are between 10‑13.
  • Availability the week before and after major holidays, including weekends, is required.
Your Role And Responsibilities Will Include
  • Day-to-day engagement:
    Utilizing a Hallmark-provided mobile device, you will restock, organize, and monitor inventory for Hallmark products in and outside the Hallmark department. You will use technology to communicate with your supervisor, report time, provide feedback, and answer surveys. Professional interaction with store staff, managers, and customers is essential.
  • Holiday support:
    During peak seasons such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, you may work additional days and extended hours, sometimes on the actual holiday or weekend.
  • Department resets:
    You may participate in installations, relocations of card departments, and resets of product sections. Two weeks’ notice is typically given for remodel assignments, which can include evenings or weekends.
  • Team support:
    As part of Hallmark’s field organization, you will often support other merchandisers in your network when needed.
Physical Requirements

This job requires physical exertion. You must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry cartons and displays up to 30 lb routinely and up to 50 lb occasionally. Kneeling, squatting, walking, standing, and climbing stairs or ladders is part of the daily routine.

Basic Qualifications
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 30 lb frequently and 50 lb occasionally.
  • Experience in operating a digital handheld device to read documents and interpret information.
  • Access to Wi‑Fi and the internet.
  • Consistent transportation to travel between assigned stores on schedule.
