Specific Responsibilities

The Assistant Unit Supervisor is responsible for the needs of all residents in the Unit. In the absence of the Unit Supervisor, the following will also be expected of the Assistant Unit Supervisor: completion/submission of paperwork, conducting staff meetings and participating in treatment team meetings, assisting Behavior Support in conducting investigations, and communicating staff performance to supervisor as needed. Specific Responsibilities include ensuring that necessary daily paperwork is completed and submitted in a timely fashion, conducting staff meetings and participates in treatment team meetings, a strong ability to delegate responsibilities as needed and implementation of a structured dorm program as outlined by Unit Supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Human Services or related field preferred. Minimum of two years experience in a residential child care setting required.

Please note - this position includes weekends and evening hours since our residential treatment center is open 24/7.
