Part‑time position (various shifts).

• Performs data entry and general registration functions for emergency department and outpatient settings.
• Accurately collects patient demographic and insurance data to ensure appropriate reimbursement and claim filing.
• Utilizes technology to quote and collect patient liabilities identified by insurance companies.
• Follows all registration and admitting policies and procedures under direction of Patient Access Manager.
• Performs admitting/administrative tasks to arrange admission of patients of all ages to the hospital.
• Provides highest level of customer service, enhances hospital experience for patients, families and visitors, and offers hospitality and concierge services.
• Works under general supervision, responsible for various shifts, may be subject to over 40 hours per week and/or callback as required, and is required to remain on campus before, during and after severe weather and/or disasters.

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree required.
• Six (6) months of relevant revenue cycle experience preferred.
• Ability to demonstrate:
• Medical terminology, written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of Medicare regulations, coding, and healthcare financial regulations.
• Proficiency in specific applications and PC (email, fax module, scan PDF, etc.).
• Fast‑paced work environment, meeting deadlines, organized, time management.
• Phone and face‑to‑face customer service, registration, patient privacy.
• Coordination of patient needs with various service levels, works well within a team structure.
