Nurse Practitioner/Physician's Assistant - DWM Medical Center

Full‑time position at D.W. McMillan Memorial Hospital. The role supports patient care in a collaborative interdisciplinary setting.

• Diagnose and manage patients’ health problems in partnership with physicians, nurses and allied health staff.
• Collaborate with team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence‑based practice activities.

• Current Alabama RN license or valid Alabama PA license.
• Graduate from a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program with a Master’s Degree or higher in Nursing.
• Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in a specialty consistent with NP education from a national certifying body recognized by the Alabama Board of Nursing.
• Biannual recertification evidence of (a) current RN licensure, (b) active CRNP practice and (c) appropriate continuing education hours.
• ACLS certification within one year of hire and CPR certification within six months of hire.
• Prior physician office experience preferred.
• Flexible schedule and strong communication skills.
