- Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patient conditions and assist physicians in delivering top-notch care.
- Plan, implement, and document nursing care tailored to each patient’s needs.
- Identify patient priorities through comprehensive assessment and evaluation.
- Develop and coordinate individualized care plans with ongoing assessments.
- Perform therapeutic nursing interventions to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Manage the caregiving process efficiently and effectively.
- Document nursing care in alignment with professional standards and patient acuity.
- Advocate for evidence-based practices and integrate innovative care delivery.
- Deliver patient-centric care in accordance with our nursing practice model.
- Embrace additional responsibilities as assigned.
- Required
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Telemetry experience.
- Proficient in all inpatient unit nursing skills, including foleys, IVs, etc.
- Education:
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited institution is mandatory.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
- Telemetry Certification or competency exam is REQUIRED.
- Required Certifications & Licensure:
- BLS Certification by AHA.
- Valid NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.
- NIHSS and Tele Certification.
- CEU contact hours in Stroke (4 hours).
- Work Schedule:
- Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM - Hours Per Week: 36 - Float Requirement:
