This position is a 36-hour work week, with shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM. Weekend and holiday requirements may apply as needed.

The Registered Nurse in Telemetry is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. The RN plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patient needs, ensuring individualized care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. The position includes performing therapeutic nursing interventions and managing the care of up to 6 patients, with a strong emphasis on patient-centric care aligned with evidence-based practices.

• Initiates assessments based on patient problems or needs and physician's medical diagnosis.
• Documents care based on standards of care, patient acuity, and clinical priorities.
• Advocates for evidence-based practice care standards and innovation in delivery.
• Performs comprehensive evaluations and develops individualized plans of care.
• Coordinates care effectively among team members to support patient outcomes.

Three years of relevant nursing experience in a telemetry or stroke care setting is required.
