I’m working with a well-established and growing accountancy practice in Bridgend that is looking to add a Tax Associate to their team.

This is a great opportunity for someone with previous tax experience who wants to build their knowledge, work with a varied client base and develop their career within a supportive practice environment.

What you’ll be doing:

• Preparing personal and corporate tax returns
• Assisting with Self-Assessment and Corporation Tax compliance
• Supporting with Capital Gains Tax work and HMRC submissions
• Dealing with client queries and liaising with HMRC
• Assisting with tax planning and advisory work
• Managing deadlines and ensuring work is completed accurately
• Building strong relationships with clients
• Supporting the wider tax team where required

About you:

• Previous tax experience within an accountancy practice
• Good understanding of personal and/or corporate tax
• Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
• Confident communicator with a client-focused approach
• Keen to continue learning and developing
