About the team/Department you will be joiningYou will be required to work in a multi-functional confidential high quality and comprehensive clerical and budgetary support to the Supervisor in order to help maximise the effective use of forensic science administration duties by both South Wales and Gwent Police.
About the role and your key responsibilitiesYou will be required to provide general administration duties which may include:
- Word processing/keyboarding inputting
- Formatting documents
- Ordering
- Mail collection and distribution
- Assistance with courier collections and deliveries – Receive, store and process of existing exhibits to various required in house and external providers
- Daily contact with police officer enquiries
- Daily contact with Forensic Service providers
- Provide relevant information both face to face and/or electronic based on existing departmental procedures and processes
- Work in line with ISO 17025
- Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft applications with a high standard of keyboard skills
- Previous office experience
- Good standard of education to at least GCSE A-C Level including Maths and English
The successful Candidate must be willing to undergo vetting to RV Vetting.
