Motorcycle Technician Opportunity in Bridgend – Competitive Salary & Career Development

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable franchise‑approved motorcycle dealership in Bridgend, for an experienced Motorcycle Technician.   • Working hours:

    Tuesday to Saturday, 8:45am to 6:00pm
Duties
  • Diagnose faults and carry out comprehensive servicing and repairs on motorcycles
  • Ensure all work complies with manufacturer standards and safety procedures
  • Accurately report on motorcycle condition, safety, and performance to the Service Manager
  • Adhere strictly to quality procedures and workshop protocols
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship in a busy environment
  • Contribute effectively as part of a team, supporting colleagues and customers alike
  • Support ongoing training programmes and personal development initiatives
Requirements for the Motorcycle Technician Role
  • NVQ/IMI Level 2 or equivalent in Motorcycle Maintenance and Repair preferred; individuals with 2‑3 years’ practical motorcycle experience will also be considered
  • Valid UK motorcycle driving licence with minimal points
  • Strong commitment to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and achieve targets
  • Individuals with a motorcycle MOT licence will have an advantage; however, training can be provided for suitable individuals
  • Motivated team player with excellent problem‑solving skills
