This is a full-time, on-site Motorcycle Mechanic role based at the CMC Motorcycles location in Bridgend. The Motorcycle Mechanic will perform routine and complex maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a wide range of bikes, including Yamaha and various pre-owned models. Day-to-day tasks include inspecting motorcycles, identifying mechanical and electrical issues, performing scheduled servicing, replacing parts, and ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards.
The role involves working closely with the service team, communicating clearly with customers about required work and repair options, and supporting a high level of customer satisfaction. The Motorcycle Mechanic will also help maintain a clean, organized workshop and adhere to all health and safety regulations.
- Strong technical skills in Vehicle Maintenance and hands‑on experience working with Bikes.
- Effective Communication skills to explain technical issues and repair options clearly to customers and colleagues.
- Focus on Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction, with a commitment to delivering reliable, high-quality work.
- Relevant vocational qualification or apprenticeship in motorcycle or automotive mechanics, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and follow manufacturer guidelines and service procedures.
- Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a busy workshop environment.
- Awareness of health and safety standards in a mechanical workshop setting.
- Full motorcycle license and prior experience in a dealership or service center environment are beneficial.
