Panel Beater

Our client, a leading automotive accident repair centre located in Bridgend, South Wales, is seeking an experienced and professional Vehicle Panel Beater to join their busy bodyshop team. Duties of the Panel Beater:

• Replacement and repair of damaged automotive body panels
• Conduct chassis and framework repairs
• Accurately assess vehicle damage and determine suitable repair methods
• Carry out bumper and door repairs as required
• Ensure all panel beating works meet internal and third-party quality standards
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient and safe operation of the centre
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail

Requirements of the Panel Beater:

• Current or recent experience as a Vehicle Panel Beater
• Formal qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 or equivalent are desirable, but strong on-the-job experience will be considered
• Good eye for detail and quality workmanship
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a team
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
• UK driving licence with minimal points
• ATA accreditation or experience working to BSI 10125 Kitemark Standards would be advantageous but is not essential
