Role:
Customer Service Advisor

Location:
Llandudno, North Wales

Duration : 6 months (Part-time)

Overall purpose of the role

As a Customer Service Advisor, you’ll be the primary point of contact for customers, providing friendly and efficient face-to-face support for their daily banking needs. You will bridge the gap between traditional service and digital convenience, ensuring every customer feels supported—whether they are performing a simple transaction or need guidance on protecting themselves from financial crime.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Branch Hosting & Service: Act as the first point of contact (Host), meeting and greeting customers and guiding them through transactions at our service devices.
  • Consultative Support: Conduct 1:1 face-to-face meetings in a private office setting to resolve queries regarding transactions, direct debits, and account management.
  • Digital Empowerment: Assist customers in navigating our banking app, helping them become more confident with digital tools and paperless banking.
  • Community Outreach &

    Education:

    Staff our mobile banking van traveling along the North Wales coast
    , specifically focusing on fraud and scam prevention.
    • Represent the bank at "pop-up" shops in local libraries, managing paperless account openings and service queries.
  • Fraud Prevention: Identify potential fraud and guide customers on the necessary steps to secure their accounts (full training provided).
  • Continuous Improvement: During non-public hours, engage in team huddles, stay updated with role-specific news/emails, and share best practices with your colleagues to improve the customer experience.

  • Tech-Willingness: While deep digital knowledge isn't required initially, you must be eager to learn our digital platforms and teach customers how to use them.
  • Professional Integrity: A passion for customer safety and a keen interest in learning how to spot and prevent financial fraud.
