Assistant Headteacher (Permanent) – Coety Primary School
Salary: Leadership Scale ISR L5–L9 £ 58,136–£64,174 per annum
32.5 hours per week
Are you the inspirational, forward‑thinking leader ready to make a real difference at our school? The Governing Body of Coety Primary School is appointing an experienced, ambitious and highly motivated Assistant Headteacher to join our Senior Leadership Team. In this role, you lead all aspects of Additional Learning Needs (ALN) and Inclusion, manage a department and its staff, and drive strategic developments that strengthen our provision.

- Maintain high expectations for pupil learning, behaviour, wellbeing and care.
- Demonstrate flexibility, enthusiasm and reflective practice, continually seeking improvement.
- Work closely with the Headteacher, SLT and Governors to drive strategic priorities.
- Aspire to senior leadership progression, bringing ambition to develop further as a future deputy headteacher.
The ability to greet customers through the medium of Welsh is a requirement for this post.
Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees. An Enhanced with Children’s Barred list criminal records check by the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) is a requirement for this post.
