OverviewA Welsh medium Primary School in Newport is currently seeking experienced and reliable Welsh Medium Learning Support Assistant professionals to join their team full-time from after February half-term (23/02/2026). This is a fantastic opportunity to secure consistent work in a supportive school environment in Newport.
The school is looking for a confident Welsh Medium Learning Support Assistant who is fluent in the Welsh language and has experience supporting children in any setting.
Responsibilities- Support pupils in the classroom and small group settings
- Assist teachers with lesson delivery and preparation
- Provide one-to-one support where needed
- Encourage positive behaviour and engagement
- Help create a safe and inclusive learning environment in Newport
- Be fluent in Welsh
- Have experience supporting children
- Hold a valid enhanced DBS
- Be registered with the EWC
- £90 per day
- Full-time hours
