Are you a confident Welsh speaker looking for a full-time Teaching Assistant role in Bridgend?

We are currently working with a number of primary and Welsh-medium schools in Bridgend who are looking for dedicated Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistants to support pupils in the classroom on a full-time basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience, support pupils through the Welsh language, and take the next step towards a career in education.

Key Responsibilities

Supporting the class teacher in primary school classrooms
Providing one-to-one and small group learning support
Assisting pupils with their learning through the Welsh language
Helping prepare classroom resources and activities
Supporting pupils during lessons and school activities
Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement in learning
What Schools Are Looking For

Confident spoken and written Welsh
Reliable, patient, and enthusiastic attitude
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Genuine interest in working with children and supporting learning
Experience working with children or in schools (desirable but not essential)
