Home Tuition Teacher (QTS) – Maths & English | KS2–KS4

2–3 Pupils Per Day | 9am–3pm | Home & Alternative Provision Settings

Are you a qualified teacher looking for a new opportunity to teach outside the classroom? We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Qualified Teachers (QTS) to deliver high‑quality 1:1 home tuition for pupils who are currently unable to access mainstream school. You will work with 2–3 learners per day, supporting them in their home or an agreed alternative learning provision across the Bridgend area.

This role is ideal for teachers who value relationship‑based learning, enjoy working independently, and want to make a meaningful impact on young people who need stability, encouragement, and personalised teaching.

📚 About the Role

* Deliver Maths and English tuition to pupils across KS2–KS4

* Sessions take place between 9am–3pm, Monday to Friday

* Work with pupils who may have SEND, SEMH needs, anxiety, or barriers to school attendance

* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to each learner

* Build positive relationships that support confidence, engagement, and progress

* Maintain clear records of attendance, progress, and safeguarding concerns

* Work collaboratively with parents, schools, and local authorities

👩‍🏫 Requirements

To be considered, you must have:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

* Enhanced DBS for Children and Adults, registered on the Update Service

* Experience teaching Maths and English up to KS4

* Strong behaviour management and the ability to adapt to individual needs

* A calm, patient, and nurturing approach

🕒 Hours & Flexibility

* Full‑time availability (9am–3pm) is ideal

* Part‑time or flexible hours may be considered

* Tuition is delivered in home settings or alternative provision environments
