Special Needs Teaching Assistant - Vale of Glamorgan
Through Teaching Personnel

Teaching Personnel are looking to appoint a number of dynamic, enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work within a vibrant and nurturing specialist pervision in the Vale of Glamorgan.

This is an exciting opportunity to support pupils in a specialist setting where wellbeing, independence and inclusion are at the heart of daily learning. The school has a warm and supportive environment where staff work closely together to help pupils develop socially, emotionally and academically.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will support the class teacher with day-to-day classroom activities while encouraging pupils to develop independence and confidence. You will play an important role in promoting the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils and supporting them to achieve their individual goals.

This specialist provision supports pupils aged 4-11 with a range of additional learning needs
, including:

  • Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)

  • Speech, language and communication needs

  • Severe learning difficulties

  • Physical and medical needs

  • Social and emotional needs

  • Support social and emotional development
