Salary:
- Unqualified: £26,386 - £31,139 per annum (pro rata, hourly paid)
- Qualified: £33,590 - £51,932 per annum (pro rata, hourly paid)
- Plan, develop, evaluate and deliver the curriculum content of programmes effectively and efficiently.
- Provide teaching and learning within the Step Up framework, supporting student progress across vocational pathways such as IT, Hairdressing, Beauty Therapy, Care & Childhood Studies, Health & Social Care, Hospitality, Creative Arts and Media.
- Engage learners through activities that support core skill development.
- Collaborate with the dedicated support team for pastoral care and skills support.
- Up-to-date knowledge and experience of course delivery.
- Ideally holding a PGCE certificate, or prepared to obtain one.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to a wide and diverse student population.
- Passion for motivating all learners.
Enhanced DBS disclosure for child and adult workforce. Registration as a FE Teacher with the Education Workforce Council. Right to work in the UK. Evidence of identity and eligibility to work in the UK. A second stage interview or assessment may be required.
