• Developing and managing construction programmes that are realistic, contractually compliant, and reflect how work actually happens on site.
• Producing and maintaining NEC3/NEC4 programmes for submission and acceptance, and updating them in line with the contract.
• Monitoring progress on site, identifying delays, and working with the site management team to implement mitigation strategies.
• Reviewing compensation events and variations, and producing robust evidence to support contractual claims.
• Supporting commercial teams with programme related input into cost and resource planning.
• Keeping everyone informed from site teams to clients, with clear progress updates and honest forecasts.
• Developing tender programmes and supporting the preconstruction team with competitive tenders.
• Working between our Bridgend office and sites across the UK, building strong relationships with stakeholders and operational teams.
• Supporting junior planners and contributing to a collaborative, forward-thinking planning team.

• Relevant experience as a Planner is preferred but not essential, ideally a background in engineering or site/project management.
• Good understanding of contracts is desirable.
• Experience using ASTA Power project is desirable but not essential.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Experience in a range of civil engineering projects is desirable.

Role will be based out of our Wales & Energy Bridgend office, blended with project visits across the UK.

Although this role is within our Wales & Energy team, we have projects and offices across the UK, including offices in Scotland and East Anglia, there is potential for flexibility in candidate location.
