Group Finance Systems Accountant – Full Time

A Global organisation based in Hertfordshire are looking for a Finance Systems accountant to join their team and support their systems environment.

The main objective of this role is to oversee, improve and maintain the Management information systems and Group consolidation processes. The successful candidate will gain valuable exposure to the financial operations on a global scale.

• System maintenance and BAU support
• User management and training
• Responsible for addressing and promptly resolving daily help-desk requests from subsidiaries
• Collaborate across key Group functions such as Tax, Treasury, HR, in order to assist and support the development of dedicated functionalities and reports
• Review of output reports from the systems and liaise with Group Systems Manager to fix any issues
• Support other ad-hoc finance projects and analytical reviews
• Financial Consolidation Accountant for the Company
• Assisting with Quarterly forecast group consolidated management accounts, budget and forecasts
• Supporting with month-end, year-end activities

• Good foundation knowledge of finance systems within an enterprise performance management tool such as SAP BPC, Oracle EPM (Hyperion Planning, PBCS), Board, Anaplan, Onestream, CCH Tagetik, TM1, SAP BFC, etc.
• Experience building and using dashboards within a Reporting tool in line with business needs
• Previous PLC work experience and complex consolidation desirable
• Part-Qualified or Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, FCC, CIMA, CMA… )
• Strong stakeholder engagement experience
• Confident communicator and excellent attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
• Highly numerate with Strong Excel skills
