A successful Head of Costing should have:

• A strong background in accounting and finance within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
• Proven expertise in costing, budgeting, and financial analysis.
• Knowledge of relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Experience in leading and developing teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
• A professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA (or equivalent).
