Finance Manager

A privately owned business in Bridgend are recruiting for a Finance Manager on a permanent basis.
Managing a small team this role will report to the company Director and is responsible for all finance activities.
Finance Manager duties
Managing a team that is responsible for processing both Sales and Purchase Ledger transactions to including posting and allocating payments, credit control, matching invoices with delivery notes and posting, daily bank reconciliations.
Processing accruals and prepayments.
Maintaining Fixed Assets register.
Calculating and processing VAT Returns.
Producing weekly creditors reports.
Monthly credit card and Hire Purchase analysis.
Monthly Management Accounts for two businesses with balance sheet analysis and commentary.
Producing Yearend accounts and Yearend Payroll returns.
Finance Manager person specification
Demonstrable experience in a similar role with an SME business.
Able to work and resolve any financial issues independently.
Communicate with non-financial colleagues.
Provide insight into business performance to Directors.
Able to work in a hands-on role.
