- Manage complex cases involving long‑term and chronic conditions, using your expertise to improve the lives of individuals in the community.
- Conduct manual handling assessments, developing and implementing customised plans for clients.
- Carry out postural assessments and provide specialist seating and wheelchair prescriptions.
- Utilise your knowledge of complex manual handling equipment and disability aids to enhance client independence.
- Plan and recommend vital environmental adaptations, including minor and major adaptations like stairlifts and bathing facilities.
- Supervise and support junior OTs and OTAs, fostering a collaborative and educational environment.
- Autonomously manage a complex community caseload, ensuring excellent clinical recording and organisation.
- Travel across the county of Ceredigion to conduct assessments in clients’ homes—use of a car is essential.
