Simple Recruitment are looking for HR Assistant for a temporary opportunity with our client in Keynsham.

To provide efficient and effective HR support to individuals and teams to enable them to maximise their delivery and assist in achieving its purpose and objectives.

The role will undertake a range of HR administrative and support activities, whilst acting as a first point of contact for HR enquiries.

Responsibilities
  • Respond to incoming enquiries from a range of customers about all matters relating to HR, such as Recruitment, Employee Lifecycle, Payroll and Health Safety & Wellbeing, providing information and advice to others in a timely and efficient manner. Queries which have complexity will be escalated using the appropriate channels according to defined protocols, to ensure that all queries are addressed in an appropriate, timely, and professional fashion.
  • Undertake straightforward data collation and analysis, assimilating information from various databases or sources of information to produce relevant reports and outputs that meet defined standards.
  • Maintain HR and OD data in manual and electronic systems for the service, processing agreed records of decisions to ensure data accuracy, confidentiality, security and compliance with relevant legislative or frameworks.
  • Recommend and support the implementation of opportunities for process improvement to enhance the support provided by HR to colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Produce standardised letters and formal documentation in line with a range of clearly defined protocols and templates, ensuring information is managed appropriately and audit trails are complete at all times.
  • Arrange and attend defined stakeholder meetings or events to support the ongoing management of people-related opportunities and issues. This includes agenda creation, collation of materials, minute taking and monitoring/following-up of actions.
About You
  • GCSE qualifications, or equivalent.
  • CIPD Level 3 Foundation Certificate in HR practice or Level 3 Business Administration (or willingness to work towards).
  • Experience of providing HR support services.
  • Knowledge of a range of systems, HR processes and procedures, some of which may be complex in nature.
  • Knowledge of ICT packages including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to provide information to a range of stakeholders in a clear and efficient manner.
  • Ability to respond to requests and prioritise tasks and activities in response to incoming requests.
