What is the purpose of the Associate Head of Supporter Data Insights and Selections?
Reporting to the Head of Audience Engagement and Campaign Planning, this role leads the Supporter Data Insights and Selections team, ensuring data-driven decision-making is embedded across Engagement and Fundraising. You'll play a key role in shaping strategy, improving campaign effectiveness, and driving audience-focused innovation through high-quality data analysis, insight and selections.
You'll contribute by:
- Leading the development and delivery of strategic data insight and selections.
- Collaborating with senior stakeholders to meet business needs through data.
- Driving continuous improvement and innovation in reporting and analysis.
What will I be doing as an Associate Head of Supporter Data Insights and Selections?
You'll lead a team responsible for delivering insightful data analysis and selections that improve supporter engagement and fundraising outcomes. You'll work closely with colleagues across Engagement and Fundraising, Technology, and Planning to ensure data is used effectively and responsibly.
- Lead and develop the Supporter Data Insights and Selections team.
- Partner with Technology teams to deliver Power BI reporting and data engineering solutions.
- Commission and analyse internal and external data to inform strategy.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to meet reporting and KPI needs.
- Ensure best practice and quality assurance across all data outputs.
- Bring to the NSPCC the latest thinking in the use of data and insight for marketing success.
What skills do I need to be an Associate Head of Supporter Data Insights and Selections?
You'll be a strategic thinker with strong technical expertise and a collaborative approach. You'll bring experience of leading data teams, translating business needs into actionable insight, and simplifying complex information for diverse audiences.
- Proven experience leading strategic data initiatives and managing data teams.
- Strong understanding of data analysis techniques and reporting tools.
- Ability to work with senior stakeholders to define and meet data needs.
