Bridgend County Borough’s ICT Department is committed to providing a customer led information technology service. Our aim is to exhibit continuing improvement in all its activities by concentrating on meeting the business needs of its customers by means of appropriate investment in technology and staff.

You will work within the Systems Team being responsible for providing technical and user support for the Management Information System used within our schools.

Maintain effective relationships with both internal and external users/customers/clients and vendors/suppliers, providing a service which is continuously responsive to changing business and user requirements.

You will have a proven knowledge of supporting and maintaining software packages, having experience of dealing with end users and resolving incidents.

Documentation is key to all processes within our department, and you will be expected to produce quality documentation to support all aspects of your work.

The successful candidate will benefit from exposure to new technology currently being deployed within the department.

Ideally you should possess a professional IT qualification or relevant experience in the areas above
