Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for an experienced Senior Logistics & Freight Coordinator to join a growing business based in Bridgend.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced logistics professional to oversee international freight operations across air, sea, and road. You'll manage end-to-end shipments, ensure compliance with customs regulations, negotiate with freight partners, and play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service.

As a senior member of the team, you'll also support the development of colleagues, identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, and have a clear pathway towards a management position.

• Manage international freight shipments across air, sea, and road.
• Coordinate customs clearance, import/export documentation, and Incoterms.
• Negotiate competitive rates with carriers, freight partners, and suppliers.
• Monitor shipments and provide regular updates to customers.
• Resolve logistics issues and ensure deliveries are completed on time.
• Support, mentor, and develop members of the operations team.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations and international trade requirements.

• Proven experience within freight forwarding or international logistics.
• Strong knowledge of customs procedures, VAT, and international trade regulations.
• Experience managing end-to-end international shipments across multiple transport modes.
• Excellent organisational, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proactive approach with strong leadership potential.
• Ambition to progress into a management role.

• Salary of £45,000-£49,000 per annum, depending on experience.
• Hybrid working.
• Monday to Friday working pattern with flexible hours.
• 30 days' annual leave, increasing to 38 days with length of service.
