A long‑established mechanical & electrical contractor based in South Wales is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to take ownership of HSE standards across multiple projects. This is a permanent role offering stability, autonomy, and the chance to shape and lead the company s safety culture.

• Lead all site‑based and company HSE functions across multiple projects
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and compliance reviews
• Produce RAMS, method statements, risk assessments, and safety documentation
• Ensure adherence to CDM Regulations and statutory requirements
• Deliver toolbox talks, HSE briefings, and internal safety training
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and support root‑cause analysis
• Support project teams with on‑site safety advice and guidance
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory bodies
• Maintain company safety certifications and drive continuous improvement

• Proven experience as a Health & Safety Manager within construction or M&E contracting
• Strong working knowledge of CDM 2015
• NEBOSH qualification (General, Construction, or equivalent)
• Excellent understanding of RAMS, audit processes, and compliance frameworks
• Confident communicator able to influence safety culture on site
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to visit multiple projects
