CNC Programmer/Setter - Turning Cardiff Outskirts - easily accessible from M4 and most locations £44,000

This long-standing engineering business is a key supplier to a global AAA client base, with customers relying on their services for over 20 years and a strong long term order book continuing to provide security for the future. There's a range of machinery on site, primarily with fanuc controls and you'll be programming at the machine from drawings. No CAD/CAM experience required as essential, though there's scope to develop in this area.

Products will vary in complexity in terms of geometry and there's challenge in a diverse range of materials. • Programme, set and operate CNC lathes to manufacture high-precision components in line with engineering drawings and required tolerances.
• Inspect components to ensure they meet drawing tolerances, to the quality required
• Support the wider production team, maintaining high standards of housekeeping and safety, and providing guidance to colleagues where required.

• Previous experience working in a similar CNC Turning or precision machining role, ideally with 3-5 years' experience.
• Proven experience programming, setting and operating CNC lathes.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and dimensional tolerances, with strong attention to detail.
