Jennifer Griffiths Recruitment are looking for MIG Fabricator/Welders for a Manufacturing Client in the Bridgend area.

Job Overview

We are seeking motivated and skilled Mig Welder/Fabricator's to join our client's manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will contribute directly to the production of high-quality metal structures and products, ensuring they meet strict safety and quality standards. Duties

Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welding on various metals, including sheet metal and structural components, ensuring strong and clean welds.

Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to cut, shape, and assemble metal parts according to detailed specifications.

Fabricate custom metal parts by measuring, cutting, and assembling materials using fabrication techniques.

Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to accurately produce components.

Conduct quality inspections of welds and fabricated parts to ensure compliance with safety standards and project requirements.

Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Assist in the assembly of finished products or structures as needed, ensuring proper fit and finish.

Skills

Experience using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively.

Mechanical knowledge combined with basic math skills for precise measurements and calculations.

Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics accurately.

Familiarity with assembly procedures for metal components.

Good understanding of safety practices related to welding, fabrication, and working with heavy materials.

Rate of pay: £13.50 per hour
