As a Production Supervisor, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of our Manufacturing operation, leading and supporting your team to achieve high standards of safety, quality, productivity and customer service. You will take ownership of the people, processes and performance within your area, ensuring production requirements are effectively planned and delivered while maintaining high standards of quality and health & safety.

Working closely with the Factory Manager and wider Manufacturing team, you will identify and resolve operational issues, develop your team and look for opportunities to continuously improve the way we work.

• Plan and coordinate daily production activity to meet customer demand and departmental targets.
• Ensure the effective utilisation of people and machinery.
• Monitor performance against agreed KPIs and take appropriate action where results are below expectation.
• Understand departmental capacity, workflow and operational priorities.
• Reallocate people or reorganise workloads where necessary to respond to changing production requirements.
• Maintain operational performance information and ensure the team understands current priorities and targets.
• Identify potential operational problems early and take action to minimise disruption.
• Liaise with the Factory Manager regarding resource requirements and overtime.
• Promote and support continuous improvement throughout the Manufacturing operation.

• Lead, support and motivate the production team to achieve departmental objectives and targets.
• Allocate work effectively, making the best use of available people, skills and resources.
• Set clear expectations and provide regular direction, coaching and feedback.
• Support employee training and development, ensuring required training is completed, understood and recorded.
• Manage day-to-day attendance, timekeeping and holiday requests in line with Company procedures.
