An exciting opportunity has arisen for a confident and experienced Consulting Veterinary Surgeon to join a forward thinking, independent small animal hospital in Bridgend.

This purpose built practice is designed to support gold standard care, featuring separate cat, dog and exotic inpatient wards, a cat only consult room, bereavement suite, dental suite with dental radiography, DR x-ray, Doppler ultrasound, endoscopy, and a fully comprehensive in-house laboratory, alongside on site accommodation and ample parking.

The hospital is home to a diverse, close knit and welcoming team with a wide range of clinical interests, including surgery, exotics, imaging, ECC and feline medicine.

With multiple certificate holders on site, vets benefit from exceptional case exposure and variety, ensuring every day brings something new and professionally rewarding.

Although this is a consult only role, the full support of a 24/7 hospital is available, allowing cases to be thoroughly worked up with confidence and continuity.

This role is perfectly suited to a passionate consulting vet who values strong client relationships, high clinical standards and collaborative working.

With out-of-hours covered entirely by the in-house team, there is no requirement for nights, weekends or bank holidays, offering an excellent work-life balance without compromising clinical fulfilment.
