General Purpose of RoleAssure the quality of clinical trials distribution.
Main Responsibilities- Ensure that all activities are carried to GMP and GDP.
- Perform post‑pick verification of clinical trial shipments to confirm that the appropriate supplies have been picked and prepared for dispatch correctly.
- Verify that temperature‑controlled shipments (cold chain, frozen) have been configured correctly, including activation of temperature monitoring devices.
- Inspect pick and pack cubicles or areas before materials or products are introduced to ensure the absence of materials or products from previous operations.
- Provide quality oversight of all point‑of‑dispatch labelling.
- Perform spot checks of warehouse log books to ensure accuracy and compliance with Good Documentation Practice.
- Provide cross‑functional support with the QC inspector role.
- Assist QA with the investigation of customer complaints and deviations.
- Reduce the number of incorrect shipments or dispatch errors.
- Drive towards a right‑first‑time approach with warehouse operators.
- GCSEs in Maths & English, NVQ2 in a relevant qualification, or BTEC National Diploma in pharmaceutical science, or NVQ/SVQ level 3 in pharmacy services, or National Certificate in pharmaceutical science.
- Experience with in a distribution/warehouse environment.
- Experience with in a GMP environment.
- Experience with in a quality role is desirable.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Experience in the clinical supply field.
- Understanding of Quality Standards including GMP, GCP and GDP.
- Knowledge of Sage 200 or similar enterprise management systems.
- IT literate in standard packages (MS Office).
- Good written and communication skills.
